Biography
Nakon više od pet desetljeća, na početku novog tisučljeća, Ameriku ponovno trese swing ludilo. Revival 40-ih, pa i 50-ih godina uvukao se u pore američke klupske scene, no ne samo kao nostalgičan trend, već kao subkulturni pokret, koji je pokrenuo cijelu novu glazbenu swing scenu, koja je izrasla na idiomima glazbe onog vremena. Ni Hollywood, ni televizija kao najmoćniji nisu se oglušili na ova klupska događanja, te su time pomogli prosperitetu swinga, pomogli mu da se izdigne iz mračnih zadimljenih klubova, na svjetlo top lista.

Jedna od prvih reakcija na ova dinamična američka događanja, u južnom dijelu Europe uobličena je u band imena "Swingers" koji dolazi iz Zagreba.
Mali big band nazvan "Swingers", svoj repertoar gradio je mješajući swing standarde 40-ih i 50-ih godina, sa ostalim prepoznatljivim glazbenim žanrovima navedenih godina poput "Tequila" i "Be bop a lula".
Iako su "Swingers" osnovani tek 1999. godine, njihovo glazbeno iskustvo, te konstantni niz nastupa, na različitim destinacijama, od klupskih prostora do eminentnih hotela, garancija su vrhunske, dinamične i urbane plesne zabave.

After more than five decades at the very beginning of the new millennia, America's trembling from swinging fever all over again. The revival of the 1940's and 50's has been driven into the pores of American club scene, not however just as a nostalgic trend, but as a whole subcultural movement, which turned on whole new swing music scene, raised on idiomatic sounds of that era. Nor Hollywood nor television didn't deafen to these happenings, and in this way they contributed to the prosperity of swing, helping it rise above the dark smoke filled clubs, and turning it into the highlights of topcharts.

One of these first reactions to the dynamic American happenings, in the south part of Europe is molded within a band called "Swingers".
The little big band called "Swingers", builds it's repertoire mixing various swing standards from 40's and 50's such us "Buena Sera" or "Caledonia", with all other recognizable genres of the mentioned years, like "Tequila" and "Be bop a lula". Even though "Swingers" were formed recently (1999), their musical experience, continuous number of performances, on various destinations, from club to eminent hotels, are a guarantee for the very top, dynamic and urban music party.
